There are a number of fund-raising ideas that you can easily implement in your store to raise money for Jewelers for Children. Here are several possibilities:
- Have your store employees wear their JFC lapel pins and display the JFC tent card and canister on your sales counter, then invite your customers to drop a contribution into the canister.
- Run a special watch battery replacement program. Donate proceeds or a portion of the proceeds from watch battery replacements to JFC.
- Perform a minor service such as watchband sizing or jewelry cleaning for free and ask that your customers drop a donation into the JFC canister in return.
- Designate a specific item such as a charm or pendant, as a JFC promotional item, and tell your customers that all proceeds from the sale of that item will go to JFC.
- Conduct a special “JFC Week” (or month) in your store, during which time a portion of your sales proceeds go to the JFC. To help promote your event you can use the JFC ad slick and press release with your local media.
- Offer to match all customer contributions to the JFC canister with an equal donation of your own.
- Offer to make a contribution to JFC for every $100 or $500 a customer spends in your store.
- Employees Hero for Hope Campaign – JFC will provide you with the materials you need to hold a Hero for Hope campaign for your employees. We'll send you sign-up brochures along with lapel pins to distribute to your employees.
